William (Billy) Boucher

CEO, Caisse Desjardins Ontario Credit Union

Born and raised on the East Coast (New Brunswick) I have had the opportunity to work with several large financial institutions in New Brunswick, Alberta and now in Ontario. After obtaining my MBA from the Université de Moncton my career has allowed me to learn the impact that the financial industry can have on the local economies as well as the part it plays in terms of social responsibility. Over the past 25 years I have held roles with RBC, TD, National Bank as well as DUCA Credit Union. As the CEO for the Desjardins Ontario Credit Union which is one of the largest Credit Unions in Canada I have the privilege of leading a team of over 600 employees that are truly dedicated to their members and their local communities. We foster a truly member first approach and we continue to be focused on community economic and social development. Sonya and I have three children (Marik 13, Annika 11 and Aidrik 9) and we have had the pleasure to call Burlington home for the past 8 years.
