It is a well-known fact that the COVID-19 pandemic had and continues to have a drastic impact on Canadian businesses. During these unprecedented and trying times, for most of the Canadian entrepreneurial ecosystem, business owners across Canada had to adapt swiftly to ensure the success of their enterprises. While most entrepreneurs have lived directly with the effects of the pandemic, many women entrepreneurs, who were already facing their own challenges, have certainly been hit even harder since the pandemic started.
A recent study conducted by the Women’s Enterprise Organizations of Canada (WEOC) in partnership with Environics Research offers some invaluable insight on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic for women entrepreneurs across the country.
